           Prof. (Dr.) Hem Chandra is a trailblazing administrator, researcher, academician and an alumnus of AIIMS
           New Delhi and a retired officer of the Army Medical Corps, Dr. Chandra previously served as the Medical
           Superintendent and Head of Hospital Administration at the prestigious SGPGIMS, Lucknow for nearly
           three decades.

       •  National Medical Commission (NMC): Appointed as a member of the newly constituted NMC (2022),
           representing the hospital administration fraternity.
       •  NBEMS Governance: Continues to serve as a vital member of the Governing Body of the National
           Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
       •  Triple FRCP Milestone: He is the only medical administrator in India to be conferred the Fellowship of
           the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) from all three major UK colleges: London, Glasgow, and
           Edinburgh.
       •  Academic Prolificacy: With over 180 research publications and 13 books, he holds the record for the
           highest number of professional degrees (7) and research contributions in his specialty in India.
