Prof. (Dr.) C. Mallikarjuna is a distinguished urologist, mentor, and visionary health administrator who has
redefined specialized surgical care in India. As the Managing Director and Chief Consultant
Uro-Oncologist & Robotic Surgeon at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), he has
been the driving force behind the institute's expansion since its inception in 2013.
In addition to his clinical leadership, he serves as the Vice President of the National Board of
Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), where he contributes to the high standards of postgraduate
medical training across the nation.
Pioneering Advancements in Urology
• Robotic & Laparoscopic Excellence: A pioneer in Robotic Uro-oncology and prostate surgery, he has
been instrumental in AINU achieving the milestone of over 1,000 robotic surgeries and 300+ successful
kidney transplantations.
• Surgical Innovation: He has conducted more than 200 workshops globally, training young surgeons in
advanced laparoscopic and endourological techniques.
• Specialized Expertise: His clinical focus encompasses urological cancers, robotic-assisted kidney
transplants, and intricate reconstructive urology.
