अवलोकन An Overview:

नीट-एमडीएस दन्त-चिकित्सक अधिनियम, 1948 (समय-समय पर संशोधित) के तहत विभिन्न MDS पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश के लिए एकल प्रवेश परीक्षा के रूप में निर्धारित पात्रता-सह-रैंकिंग परीक्षा है। NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time).

मास्टर इन डेंटल सर्जरी में प्रवेश के लिए उम्मीदवार के पास भारत एक विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान द्वारा बैचलर इन डेंटल सर्जरी की मान्यता प्राप्त डिग्री होनी चाहिए एवं राज्य दन्त-चिकित्सक परिषद द्वारा पंजीकृत होना चाहिए और अस्थायी या स्थायी पंजीकरण प्राप्त होना चाहिए और किसी अनुमोदित/मान्यता प्राप्त डेंटल कॉलेज में एक वर्ष की अनिवार्य रोटेटरी इंटर्नशिप पूरी की होनी चाहिए। A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.

उम्मीदवार जो फाइनल योग्यता परीक्षा (BDS या भारत सरकार/डीसीआई द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विदेशी दन्त-चिकित्सा डिग्री) में सफलता पाने के बाद 12 महीने की अनिवार्य रोटेटरी इंटर्नशिप कर रहा है या किसी विशिष्ट प्रवेश सत्र की इंटर्नशिप पूरी करने के लिए निर्धारित कट-ऑफ तिथि तक समाप्त करने की संभावना है, नीट-एमडीएस की परीक्षा दे सकता है, बशर्ते सूचना बुलेटिन द्वारा निर्धारित पात्रता मानदंड को पूरा किया जाए। A candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by the prescribed cut-off date for internship completion for a particular admission session can take up NEET-MDS examination, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in the bulletin of information.

1. भारत के राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए अखिल भारतीय 50% कोटा एमडीएस सीटें। All India 50% quota MDS seats for all States/Union territories of India.

3. देश भर में सभी निजी मेडिकल कॉलेजों, संस्थानों और विश्वविद्यालयों/डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालयों में एमडीएस पाठ्यक्रम। MDS Courses at all Private Dental Colleges, Institutions & Universities all across the country
4. सश्स्त्र सेना चिकित्सा सेवा संस्थानों में एमडीएस पाठ्यक्रम। MDS Courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
5. आर्मी डेंटल कॉर्प्स में लघु सेवा आयोग के लिए दन्त-चिकित्सक सर्जन (बीडीएस और एमडीएस) के लिए स्क्रीनिंग परीक्षा। Screening exam for dental surgeons (BDS & MDS) for Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps

निम्नलिखित दन्त-चिकित्सा संस्थान नीट-एमडीएस के माध्यम से एमडीएस सीटों के लिए केंद्रीकृत प्रवेश द्वारा समाहित नहीं हैं The following dental institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MDS seats through NEET- MDS:
1. एम्स, नई दिल्ली AIIMS, New Delhi
कोई भी राज्य सरकार/निजी दन्त-चिकित्सा कॉलेज/विश्वविद्यालय अपने एमडीएस पाठ्यक्रमों के प्रवेश के लिए अलग से प्रवेश परीक्षा का आयोजन नहीं करेंगे। No State Government/Private Dental College/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MDS Courses.
