अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थियों के लिए एनबीईएमएस फैलोशिप प्रोग्राम में प्रवेश भी समान फैलोशिप प्रवेश टेस्ट द्वारा दिया जाता है। हालांकि प्रत्येक सब-स्पैशेलिटी जिसमें विदेशी विद्यार्थियों को प्रोग्राम प्रदान किए जाते हैं में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थियों के फैलोशिप प्रोग्राम (FPIS) के लिए अलग से मेरिट सूची होगी।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थियों के लिए, विद्यार्थी की पात्र फीडर योग्यता उनके अपने देश में पंजीकृत योग्यता होनी चाहिए। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थी की योग्यता एनएमसी अधिनियम, 2019 के प्रावधानों के तहत मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यता होनी चाहिए और भारतीय चिकित्सक परिषद अधिनियम, 1956 की दूसरी अनुसूची या तीसरी अनुसूची के भाग II में शामिल होनी चाहिए, जिसे एनएमसी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर देखा जा सकता है। इसके साथ ही विद्यार्थी को अपने देश में पंजीकृत चिकित्सक होना चाहिए।

एक पात्र अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थी जिसने प्रवेश परीक्षा की पात्रता प्राप्त कर ली है को उपयुक्त प्राधिकरणों (विदेश मंत्रालय, गृह मंत्रालय, स्थानीय पुलिस) से अनापत्ति प्राप्त करनी होगी और किसी भी FNB/FNB-PD पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल होने की अनुमति प्राप्त करने से पूर्व राष्ट्रीय चिकित्सा आयोग के साथ अस्थायी पंजीकरण प्राप्त करना होगा। सभी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा में उपस्थित होने के लिए और वैध यात्रा दस्तावेज़ (पासपोर्ट) तथा वैध अनुमति (वीसा) के आधार पर फैलोशिप की अवधि के लिए भारत में कार्य करने की अनुमति के लिए अपनी चिकित्सा परिषद/सरकार से “अनापत्ति प्रमाण पात्र” प्राप्त करने की आवश्यकता है।

Admissions to NBEMS fellowship courses for international students are also undertaken through the same Fellowship Entrance Test, however, there shall be a separate merit list for Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS), in each sub-specialty wherein programme for international students are being offered.

For International students, the eligible feeder qualification of the student should be a registered qualification in his /her own country. The qualification of the international student should be a recognised qualification as per provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and included in Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 which can be seen at the official website of the NMC. Further, the student should be a registered medical practitioner in his/her own country.

An eligible international student who has qualified the entrance examination shall have to obtain clearance from appropriate authorities (Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Local police) and will have to obtain temporary registration with the National Medical Commission before they are permitted to join any FNB/FNB-PD course. All international students are required to obtain a “No Objection Certificate” from their medical council /Government for appearing in the examination and permission for working in India for the period of Fellowship based on valid travel document (passport) and valid permission (visa).
