The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted a one-day workshop on Patient Safety and Communication in Healthcare on November 26, 2022 at Silver Jubilee Auditorium at NBEMS Dwarka office.

Dr. Abhijat Sheth, President, NBEMS was the Chief Guest for the workshop. Vice Presidents & Governing Body members of NBEMS, more than 200 DNB, DrNB and FNB trainees and faculty from various NBEMS Accredited institutions joined this workshop. Prof. Minu Bajpai, Honorary Executive Director, NBEMS and Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Member, GB NBEMS & OSD to President NBEMS felicitated the dignitaries.

Eminent speakers Dr. Shishta N Basu, Member Governing Body NBEMS; Dr. B K Rao, Chairman, Institute of CCM, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi; Dr. Girish Tyagi, President Delhi Medical Council; Dr. Sitangshu Basu, Laparoscopic Surgeon, Max Hospital, New Delhi; Dr. Ajay Kumar, Former Governing Body Member NBEMS; Dr. G. G. Laxman Prabhu, Department of Urology, KMC, Mangalore delivered sessions on various aspects of Patient Safety & Communication in Healthcare.

Prof. Sudha Seshayyan, Member Governing Body NBEMS; Dr. Ved Prakash, Principal Advisor to Hon'ble Chancellor and KIMS, Karad; Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Bipin Puri, Member, Governing Body NBEMS; Prof. A K Agarwal, Former Dean, MAMC, New Delhi; Prof. Minu Bajpai, Honorary Executive Director, NBEMS chaired different sessions in the workshop.
