NBEMS Celebrates 23rd Convocation: 26,396 Medical Specialists Awarded Degrees

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences hosted its 23rd Convocation on May 23, 2026, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. A total of 26,396 doctors were conferred specialist qualifications, comprising 17,279 DNB, 3,873 DrNB, 4,903 NBEMS-Diploma, and 341 FNB recipients.

Shri J.P. Nadda, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He presented degree certificates and honored 137 meritorious graduates with Gold Medals for outstanding academic achievement. He has also inaugurated 11 New Courses to be conducted by NBEMS.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished Guests of Honor, including Padma Vibhushan Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy and Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary, Health alongside prominent healthcare leaders, faculty, and families celebrating the next generation of medical specialists.
