The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) continues to professional
excellence through a series of robust educational initiatives designed for both educators and
specialists. Central to its
mission are the Faculty
Development Programs,
which provide DNB,
DrNB, and FNB faculty
with essential skill
enhancements. Recent
milestones include high-
impact workshops at
NBEMS, New Delhi,
Narayana Institute of
Cardiac Sciences,
Bengaluru (25.04.2026),
Apollo Hospital, Mumbai (08.03.2025) and AIG Hospitals Hyderabad (24.06.2023).
Beyond faculty training, NBEMS prioritizes the holistic development of PG Medical trainees
through dedicated workshops on Communication in Healthcare, recently highlighted by a
National Conclave in Chennai (30.03.2026). The Board’s global footprint is further evidenced
by international programs, such as the transplant ethics training conducted at Hyderabad and
New Delhi.
Complementing these on-site events, NBEMS leverages digital innovation by conducting
regular e-classes for its trainees across various specialties, ensuring continuous, accessible
learning that modernizes the medical education landscape nationwide.
NBEMS remains committed to enhancing postgraduate medical education through its robust
e-learning initiative. To strengthen postgraduate training and assessment for trainees, NBEMS
continues to host comprehensive e-classes and webinars across various Broad and Super
Specialty courses. These sessions leverage a high-capacity online platform, trainees to
participate simultaneously. The curriculum is designed for interactive learning by distinguished
subject experts, panel discussions, seminars, Journal Clubs, and clinical case presentations.
During the year 2025, NBEMS conducted approx. 3200 webinars classes in 74 medical
specialties.
