          Dr. Anita Aggarwal is serving as the Head of Scientific Divisions at DST. Her leadership extends across
          several high-impact divisions and cells that are critical to India's scientific and social infrastructure:

       •  Head,  SEED  Division:  Leads  the  Science  for  Equity,  Empowerment  and  Development  (SEED)
          division, which focuses on providing technological solutions for the empowerment of Scheduled Castes,
          Scheduled Tribes and other marginalized communities through Science Technology & Innovation Hubs.
       •  Head, Medical Devices and Technology Cell (MDTC): Oversees the development and indigenization
          of medical devices, ensuring that healthcare technology is accessible and advanced.
       •  Head,  Technology  Development  and  Transfer  (TDT):  Until  recently,  she  spearheaded  the  TDT
          division,  implementing  programs  such  as  Waste  Management  Technologies  (WMT),  Advanced
          Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), and the establishment of Technology Enabling Centres (TEC)
          in universities.
       •  State Science & Technology Programme (SSTP): Managed the coordination of S&T activities across
          various Indian states to strengthen local scientific ecosystems.

          Key Achievements & Contributions
          Research  Experience  of  12  years  in  the  field  of  biochemistry/immunology  with  a  focus  on  cancer,
          tuberculosis and anthrax.
          She  has  authored  over  Twenty-five  peer  reviewed  publications  in  international  journals  and  three
          publications in proceedings.
