Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare
Government of India
Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar
I am pleased to know that National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences is organising its twenty-first convocation ceremony on 20th June
2022. Indeed, it is a day of great pride for the nation, and particularly, for those who are graduating as specialist doctors, and their parents, their
families and their teachers. With the deep knowledge and understanding they have acquired in the subjects of their calling, and the fine skills they
have honed, these specialist doctors will be a major asset to the people of this country. I congratulate them all from the bottom of my heart as they
set out on a new journey filled with considerable responsibility.
I also congratulate the officers of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, diligent staff, faculty and governing body of National Board of
Examinations in Medical Sciences to lead the mission of taking medical education to all parts of the country in true spirit under the visionary guidance
of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It gives me happiness to note that this national body has more than 1100 hospitals accredited to it,
and it admits more than 12,000 doctoral and post-doctoral postgraduates annually. This wonderful initiative will act like a magic wand for creating
high-skilled specialist doctors for the global community.
