I am delighted to know that National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences shall be holding its twenty-first convocation ceremony on June
20, 2022. It gives me enormous joy to learn that more than 16,000 specialist doctors will be joining the ranks of the medical human resource in the
country following this dikshant. I congratulate the generation-next specialist doctors, their parents, families and teachers on this day. They must feel
very proud of their achievement and must take an oath that they will serve the nation and global community well.
Medical profession is known for its high standards of professional excellence, probity, ethics, and diligence. A good doctor must remain abreast of
the developments in the field and continue to sharpen the skills with time as medicine benefits from the new age electronics, information technology,
machine learning, robotics and other technological advancements. Under the dynamic leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,
the Government is committed to provide accessible and equitable health care services to people across the country and be a part of this noble mission.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the members of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for their continued effort in
bringing a paradigm shift in medical education in India. I am sure that NBEMS will explore new ways to make medical education more people-centric.
