Process of FMGE Pass Certificate Distribution

The FMGE Pass Certificates are distributed to all qualified candidates of the Foreign Medical

Graduate Examination (FMGE) in person at the Dwarka Office of National Board of Examinations
in Medical Sciences, New Delhi, after thorough biometric and document verification. Qualified

candidates are called on a specified date and time slot, or may collect the certificate through a prior
appointment.

As part of the verification process, the candidate’s biometric details, including fingerprint
authentication and facial comparison with the examination-day records, are verified. Thereafter, all

original documents required for determining eligibility for FMGE are physically examined and
verified by the officials.

To further safeguard the authenticity and integrity of the FMGE Pass Certificates, the certificates

are embedded with multiple advanced security features that make them extremely difficult to
counterfeit or reproduce. These security mechanisms include holographic elements, embossing

techniques, and other anti-counterfeiting measures designed to prevent unauthorized duplication.

This robust in-person verification mechanism combined with the multi-layered security features in
the certificate itself has significantly strengthened the integrity of the certification process and has

effectively minimized the possibility of fraudulent activities such as impersonation, submission of
forged credentials, and certificate forgery. The combination of biometric verification at the point of

collection and technologically advanced security features embedded in the physical certificate
creates a comprehensive defense against fraudulent certification practices.

Further, the results of all qualified candidates are shared with all State Medical Councils and the

National Medical Commission (NMC) to ensure comprehensive verification and regulatory oversight
across the medical profession. To facilitate efficient and transparent credential verification, NBEMS

has developed a specialized Credential Verification Portal that enables authorized entities to conduct
easy, digitalized verification of FMGE certificates.
