Beginning with a handful, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences currently partners
with more than 1400 hospitals across the country. The accreditation of a medical institution is carried
out on the basis of well-established laid out criteria to ensure that the candidates find a fair footing
both in academics and clinical training.
A large number of Government Medical Colleges, Armed Forces Hospitals, Railway Hospitals,
Public Sector Undertaking Hospitals, District Hospitals, minority institutions and private hospitals
are a part of the growing club of
National Board of Examinations in
Medical Sciences in postgraduate
medical education.

specialist workforce
Through its postgraduate and
postdoctoral programmes,
National Board of Examinations in
Medical Sciences has been
contributing in a big way to the
