Academic Programmes
During the last few years, the Board has introduced

a number of new academic programmes with the objective of
fulfilling the felt needs of the community as well as bridging

the hopes of the doctors wishing to undergo further
advancement of knowledge and skills. These academic

programmes are listed in Table 2.

The philosophy driven by people’s welfare has led

to further new beginnings. During this 23 Convocation
ceremony, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health and Family

Welfare, Sh. J P Nadda is launching the following 11 new

academic programmes in addition to the existing, taking the
tally to more than hundred and twenty:

• Diploma in Nuclear Medicine

• FNB Paediatric Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology

• FNB Upper GI Surgery
• FNB Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery

• DNB Trauma and Acute Care Surgery

• FNB Allergy, Asthma and Applied Immunology
• FNB Interventional Pulmonology

• FNB Breast Surgery
