Attn: Candidates registered online for participation in counseling for DNB (Primary) admission  to January 2012 admission session

 

MERIT LIST FOR CET CENTRALIZED COUNSELING - JAN 2012 ADMISSION SESSION

 

  1. The merit list of candidates, who have qualified the Centralized Entrance Test conducted by NBE in Dec 2011 & June 2010 sessions and who have registered online for participation in counseling for admission to January 2012 admission session has been notified.

 

  1. The merit list is purely provisional subjected to verification of original documents at the time of counseling as mentioned below as well as in the rank letter. Individual letter/communication in this regard is NOT being sent separately to the candidates.

 

  1. Tie - Breaker Criteria for determining inter-se-merit  of candidates securing same overall marks in the CET in sequential order are as under :-

 

a)      In case of tie, candidate scoring more marks in Paper-II of the CET gets a higher position.

b)      In case of tie of CET overall marks including Paper-II marks, date of birth of the candidate is considered; Elder candidate gets a  higher position.

c)      In case of tie not being resolved by  date of  birth, candidate scoring higher aggregate marks in ‘Final professional MBBS Examination’ gets a higher rank.  

 

  1. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling if they fail to produce ALL the documents required IN ORIGINAL on the day of their counseling.

 

  1. Inclusion of Name in the merit list does not confer any right, whatsoever, to the candidate that he/she shall be allotted a DNB seat for January 2012 admission session. The allocation of Specialty and Institution will be done through merit based centralized counseling.

 

  1. Candidates are required to refer to the schedule of counselling to be displayed shortly on the notice board of National Board of Examinations, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi and to be notified on NBE web site www.natboard.edu.in

 

  1. Candidates are required to bring their RANK LETTER at the time of counseling along with the prescribed documents in original. Candidates shall be able to download their Rank Letters after the schedule for counseling is announced by NBE.

 

  1. Candidates have to deposit a counseling fee of Rs.2000/- through demand draft in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at New Delhi, on the day of counseling at counseling venue. Candidates are required to bring the above mentioned demand draft to participate in counseling, failing which they will not be allowed to participate in the counseling.
  2. Candidate has to be present in person on the day of his/her counseling at scheduled time to be specified in his/her Rank Letter. No authorized representative on behalf of candidate will be permitted under any circumstances. Candidate may kindly ensure to arrive for counseling on time at designated venue. NBE shall not be responsible for any delay in arrival due to any reason.

 

  1.  List of Prescribed Documents: Candidates must bring the following documents in original, along with certified copies of the documents at S.No. (ii) to (ix), while coming for participation in counselling:

 

                                 i.            Rank Letter downloaded from NBE website www.natboard.edu.in

                               ii.            CET PASS certificate issued by NBE.

                              iii.            MBBS Degree/Provisional passing certificate*.

                             iv.            Internship Completion Certificate.

                               v.            Permanent/Provisional Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.

                             vi.            Matriculation/High School/Higher Secondary Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth.

                            vii.            SC/ST certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable.

                          viii.            OBC certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable. The sub-caste should tally with the central list of OBC.

                             ix.            Any other relevant certificate or document.

 

* Provisional Pass certificate is permitted only for those candidates who have passed their MBBS in 2011.

 

  1. Candidates are required to bring one of the Govt issued ID card (PAN card or Indian Passport or Driving Licence or Election ID card) in original at the time of appearing for counselling. No other ID proof will be accepted.

 

  1. All the certificates must be in HINDI or ENGLISH. In case if any of the certificate(s) is/are in regional language, its English version translated copy duly authenticated by a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer will be required in original.
