Subject:        Caution and Diligence Notice


  1. All the Heads of NBE accredited hospitals /institutions and Heads of hospitals /institutions desirous of submitting application for seeking accreditation of NBE for running Diplomate of National Board (DNB) or Fellow of National Board (FNB) courses are hereby informed that as per the criteria prescribed by the National Board of Examinations the hospital concerned has to complete and submit the requisite application along with supporting annexures on their own. 


  1. The applicant hospitals /institutions are not required to engage any agency /agent for the purpose of completion and submission of application form or representing the matter with NBE. 


  1. Canvassing of any form is prohibited and shall lead to summary rejection of hospital.


  1. A declaration to this effect is also required to be furnished along with the application seeking accreditation.


  1. In the event of such an instance being noted by NBE, NBE reserves its absolute rights to summarily reject the application besides further action as may be deemed appropriate, including but not limited to withdrawal of accreditation of other departments /debarring the hospital for applying in future..


  1. The applicant hospital /institution are therefore advised to exercise due caution and diligence in preparing and submitting their application.

  1. Applicant hospitals are also cautioned not to entertain or engage any agent /agency or any party offering their services for the purpose of preparing, drafting, submitting or representing the applicant hospital /institution as such practices are strictly prohibited.
