The annual convocation of the Board for conferring postgraduate and post doctoral qualifications on the successful candidates of the DNB Final examinations of December 2009, June, 2010, December 2010 and June 2011 sessions and Fellowship Exit examinations held in year 2010 & 2011 will be held on Wednesday, the 1st February, 2012 at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi.
1. ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 17TH CONVOCATION
Candidates eligible for award of the above qualifications only are required to register online at NBE website www.natboard.edu.in for receipt of degree certificate in-person at the convocation or in-absentia at their correspondence address through post.

2. IDENTITY-CUM-ACKNOWLEDGMENT SLIP
Candidates eligible for convocation shall be able to download an Identity cum Acknowledgment Slip from NBE website January 21st, 2012 onwards. This slip will be required for entry to Convocation Venue on February 1st, 2012.
3. DEGREE IN ABSENTIA
Candidates who are unable to attend the convocation in-person are also required to register for award of degree certificate in-absentia. In addition to enrolment fee, such candidates are required to pay an in-absentia fees of Rs. 1500/- through challan/pay-in-slip at any of the Indian Bank branch across India. Kindly note that the degree certificate will be dispatched to the eligible candidates after the Convocation.
4. REHEARSAL
There will be a dress rehearsal on the 1st February, 2012 at 10:30AM at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. All candidates registered for convocation must attend the rehearsal to facilitate conduct of Convocation. The candidates for admission to the Degree in person must be present at the rehearsal and there will be a roll call. They must remain in their allocated seats in the convocation hall till the rehearsal is over. No one will be admitted to the hall after the final roll is called.
5. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS IN THE CONVOCATION HALL
Candidates attending the convocation in person will be allotted a seat and a list showing the seat numbers allotted to them will be displayed outside the convocation hall & also informed at Convocation registration desks at venue.
6. CONVOCATION DRESS
It is recommended that gents should appear in high-buttoned-up-coats with trousers (National Dress) or trousers with lounge suits & necktie and the ladies should wear sarees with blouse; or shirt with salwar or chooridar pyjamas.
7. STAY & TRAVEL
Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for their travel and stay at New Delhi. National Board of Examinations will not be able to make such arrangements for the candidates.
