DNB CET- July 2013 Admission Session–Schedule for 2nd Round of Counseling

Kind Attention: Applicant candidates for DNB CET August 2013

• The first round of DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling for Admission to DNB (Post MBBS) Broad Specialty Courses (July 2013 Admission Session) has been completed on 18-10-2013.

• The second round of DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling shall be conducted by NBE as per the schedule given below at its Dwarka Office, New Delhi.

(* Required to pay counseling fee of Rs. 2500/- by means of DD)

#    Only those candidates whose merit position is upto 6000 and were present at the time of 1^st round of DNB CET counseling and had opted for participation in further round of counseling are eligible to participate in the second round of counseling subject to verification of their original documents and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria as laid down in the concerned information bulletin and hand book for DNB CET Centralized Merit Based Counseling for July 2013 Admission session.  These Candidates are not required to bring their RANK LETTER at the time of counseling. There is no additional fee for participation in Second Round of Counseling for these candidates. 

• The list of candidates eligible for DNB CET – 2nd Round of Counseling July 2013 admission session shall be made available on NBE website shortly.

• The candidates beyond the merit position 6000 are required to pay counseling fee of Rs. 2500/- by means of Demand Draft in favour of National Board of Examinations, payable at New Delhi, on the day of counseling at counseling venue itself. These Candidates are required to bring their RANK LETTER at the time of counseling along with the other prescribed documents.  Candidates can download their rank letters for participation in the Counseling from NBE website shortly.

§  Candidates will be required to bring all prescribed documents in original. 

• List of Prescribed Documents: Candidates have to bring the following documents IN ORIGINAL. In addition, candidates are also required to bring certified photocopies of the documents mentioned at S.No. (i) to (xi).  Certified photocopies have to be submitted to NBE at the time of documents verification:

                      i.        Rank Letter downloaded from NBE website www.natboard.edu.in 

                     ii.        DNB CET Result Certificate (August 2013) downloaded from NBE website www.natboard.edu.in 

                    iii.        Attempt certificate of MBBS qualification. (in case of tie of merit position).

                   iv.        MBBS Degree certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate of MBBS*

                    v.        Permanent Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.

                   vi.        Proof of MBBS Qualification recognized as per IMC Act/Central Government.

                  vii.        Internship Completion Certificate (internship completion date must be on or before 31^st July 2013).

                 viii.        Matriculation/High School/Higher Secondary Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth.

                   ix.        SC/ST/PWD/OBC certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable.

Caste certificate must be issued by competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the central Govt. list.

                    x.        Any document (Bonafide certificate/Mark sheet/Attempt Certificate etc issued by concerned institution/medical college) confirming the name of the institution/medical college from where the MBBS qualification was pursued.

                   xi.        Any other relevant certificate or document.

*Provisional certificate of MBBS Qualification is permissible only for those candidates who had passed the MBBS Qualification in the year 2012.

If the candidate has passed MBBS Qualification before 2012 and the MBBS degree certificate has not been issued to him/her so far by the concerned university/Board, documentary evidence to this effect in form of a letter from competent authority of respective university/Board is to be furnished at the time of counseling.

If a candidate is employed or under any kind of bond, he/she has to furnish a ‘No Objection Certificate or/and Relieving letter’ issued by competent authority of concerned University /Employer before the cut off date prescribed to join the DNB course in case he/she decides to opt for a confirmed seat. The seat allotment letter to such candidates will be issued only after a copy of ‘No Objection Certificate or/and relieving letter’ is submitted to NBE.

• Candidates without original documents shall not be allowed to appear/participate in Centralized Counseling by NBE under any circumstances.

• The Indicative seat matrix shall be made available on NBE website shortly. Final Seat matrix shall be notified prior to commencement of the counseling.
• The candidates appearing for counseling can either opt for a confirmed seat or exercise their option for participation in further round of counseling (if any). The conduct of further round of counseling shall be subject to feasibility and availability of seats after the conduct second round of counseling.
